Project Overview & Scope of Work
Innoto Engineering serves as the lead engineering and architectural consultant for the proposed 5-story healthcare staff residential complex at District General Hospital, Nuwara Eliya. Designed for extreme highland terrain and microclimate conditions.
Scope of Consultancy Services
- Geotechnical Slope Stability: Slope stabilization, stepped retaining systems, and deep pile foundations designed for highland montane soils.
- Structural Engineering: Seismic and wind-load reinforced concrete moment frame design adhering to British Standards and CIDA Grade CS2 guidelines.
- Architectural Space Planning: High-density residential units with thermal insulation, natural daylighting, and bioclimatic highland ventilation.
- Comprehensive MEP Engineering: Centralized water heating, dual-circuit power backup, fire suppression, and frost-resistant plumbing distribution.
- Statutory Permitting & EIA: Environmental approvals, NBRO landslide clearance, and municipal council development approvals.
- Full-Time Supervision & QA/QC: Dedicated on-site resident engineers conducting slump tests, cube crush tests, and rebar ultrasonic testing.
